Three players from the Suffolk Coastal Petanque Alliance kicked the 2026 season off with a winning start at the Over 50's Warm Up Event.
In the Gold and overall final, Paul Fletcher, Lorrie Austin and Alan Halls produced a composed and clinical consistent performance to defeat the number one seeds Nic Baxter, Ian Bailey and Phil Bradshaw 13–7. A deserved win that saw them take home a tidy £150 first prize.
